Trans-parir


Hay algunos lugares y personas que nos conmueven a estar pariendo cualquier idea. Este ha sido el resultado de nuestro encuentro. Karina Smigla-Bobinski me ha invitado a una entrevista en video sobre el Paraíso. Un proyecto que desarrolla desde hace cuatro años entrevistando sobre el Paraíso:

Yo no sé definir la palabra Paraíso. No obstante, mi Paraíso estaría reflejado en el cristal que yo portaba (mi narración), detrás del cual caminarían cuatro fotos importantes de mi vida, (siempre con mi amor desnudo)  y al frente de este reflejo y a través de la cámara de video se vería también Karina Smigla-Bobinski a contraluz. Aproximadamente cinco minutos eran suficientes para establecer un diálogo sobre el Paraíso.


La colección fotográfica que aquí ven: Trans-parir, es posterior a la entrevista sobre el Paraíso. Karina portaba ahora mi cristal (mi narración) y yo fotografiaba su paraíso sin preguntarle. Entraban luces por doquier: a través de la  ventana, a través del flash. y a través de nosotras, que parecía que nos habíamos conocido en un Paraíso similar: la vida a través de los reflejos.


Trans esta luz ví como Karina Paría nuevamente a su hijo Gabriel, pero esta vez él nacía grande y con ropas, y él también nos paria a nosotras.


-¿Qué harán con estas fotos?- preguntó Gabriel.

Trans-birth


There are places and people that move us to give birth to ideas. This has been the result of us meeting. Karina Smigla-Bobinski  invited me for a video-interview about Paradise. This is a project she started four years ago interviewing about "Paradise".

I do not know how to define the word Paradise. However, my Paradise would be reflected on the glass I was holding (my narration), behind which four photographs that have been important in my life, always with my naked love, would walk around. And in front of this reflection and through the video camera a backlight silhouette of Karina could be seen as well. About five minutes were enough to build up a dialog about Paradise.


The pictures you can see here: Trans-birth, were taken after the interview about Paradise.  Karina held my glass (my narration) and I pictured her Paradise without asking her any questions. Different lights entered the room from everywhere: through the window, through the flash , and through us, who seemed to have known each other in a similar Paradise: the life through the reflections.


Trans that light I could see how Karina was giving birth again to her son Gabriel, but this time grown up and dressed up, and also how he was giving birth to us.


- What will you do with these pictures? - asked Gabriel.
